![]() Thanks." So i need update my Yosemite to El Captain to the 960 work? I can enjoy 4K at my new 43 inch monitor. I read a lot in this sites but in the mac vid i found this " Oh, Fortunately, today I got to Web driver for GTX960 for El Capitan 10.11.3 at the 'DRIVERS' section of this website. I believe this link (from MacVidCards) is the driver you would need for 10.11.3. Personally I would look at either a GTX-680 or a GTX-980 instead. Supposedly the latest Nvidia drivers for 10.11.3 now do support the GTX-960. There was also an even more critical issue which was that not only was no Mac firmware available (minor depending on your situation) but also that there were no Mac drivers available. MacVidCards are supposed to be close to making it available in a 'flashed' form. ![]() The card will therefore still work but cannot show anything before the Mac has finished booting and therefore you cannot access either the Boot selector screen or the Recovery partition, or use FileVault. However right now the GTX-960 is not available anywhere 'flashed' to Mac style firmware. It appears the reference design of the GTX-960 only needs a single 6-pin power lead and therefore will work no problems in a Mac Pro from a power point of view.
